District Director - Lansing
This is the lead staff position of the JA of Mid-Michigan Office managing a Program Coordinator position. This position is responsible to raise annual revenue to meet the financial goals of JA Mid-Michigan through the resources of the Board, individuals, organizations, foundations and corporations. Revenue is raised through events, campaigns, proposals and direct contact. This position organizes fund raising events with specific monetary goals and relationship cultivation goals, develops timetables and marketing collateral, secures sponsors, recruits event volunteers and secures prizes as incentives and assures the efficient operation of events. This position is a liaison with Advisory Board Committees. The position is based in the JA of Mid-Michigan office in Lansing, MI, but requires attending meetings in multi county area including Grand Rapids headquarters.

Program Coordinator - Lansing
To ensure smooth operation of the Junior Achievement educational programs in the greater Lansing area by developing and maintaining positive working relationships with volunteers, businesses, teachers, and school personnel. Responsible for veteran volunteer re-enlistment and the procurement of new volunteers and volunteer sources to fill all scheduled classes. Maintains and assists in maintaining accurate and complete education constituent records in database management system. Assists in the entering of class information and the understanding of the timely submission of class registrations with the National office. Provides student and volunteer information to education and development staff as requested through writing/running database queries and reports.

Assists the education staff with daily operations of Junior Achievement’s elementary, middle and high school programs. Includes assistance with volunteer recruiting and training, program servicing, administrative procedures and special events. Will serve as a student liaison for capstone programs and coordinator of materials. Ensures smooth operation of JA educational programs in West Michigan by developing and maintaining positive working relationships with volunteers, businesses, teachers, and school personnel within the private/parochial school network.

To ensure smooth operation of the Junior Achievement operations in Southwest Michigan by developing and maintaining positive working relationships with volunteers, businesses, teachers, and school personnel. Support JASWM staff, committees and board administratively. Responsible for the coordination of events as assigned. Provide leadership for the region in database management and reporting.

Executive Assistant
Provide administrative support to the Chief Rural Officer such that it facilitates goal attainment. The Chief Rural Officer is responsible for the overall fundraising, education, and administration in the north counties of JAMGL. They will provide support with advisor boards in rural areas (Allegan, Newaygo, Montcalm, Traverse City, and Petoskey), education activities, events, development activities, and any additional items as needed. They are to provide 20 hours of support to Chief Rural Officer.

This position is focused on managing the entire grants process for Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes which constitutes a significant portion of revenue for the organization. Prospective funders include corporations and foundations which have historically supported Junior Achievement as well as researching and identifying new prospects.
