Junior Achievement of Michigan Great Lakes (JAMGL) is seeking a strategic Development Director to help lead the fundraising and sales initiatives for the organization. As a self-starter, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping to retain and grow our current donor base to further the mission of Junior Achievement and expand our opportunities.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Primary Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Development, the Development Director will work to proactively seek and develop relationships with prospective individuals and corporations to support Junior Achievement and meet our revenue goals. You will work in collaboration with two other key members to plan events hosted by Junior Achievement to further expand our network and impact our students by growing funding. With your sales mindset and enthusiasm for business development, you’ll work to leverage your networking skills to represent the organization in the community and cultivate, steward, and secure support for Junior Achievement’s mission.

Qualifications (required)

- 3+ years’ experience in development or sales including working with corporations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- A successful history working with multiple donor partners
- Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and relational skills
- Strategic and sales-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Passion for the mission of Junior Achievement
