Play4JA!
A FUN WAY FOR LARGE GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT
Play4JA is a creative way for large groups to raise funds for Junior Achievement’s education programs AND enjoy a celebratory team-building activity together. Your team chooses the activity, such as bowling, happy hour, movie screenings, trivia, or escape rooms – any virtual or in-person event that your group considers a good time!
Everything can be done in a few simple steps:
- Set a fundraising goal
- Choose an event/activity that sounds fun! Bowling, Escape Room, Happy Hour, Painting, Trivia Night, etc.
- JA will set up your personal fundraising pages
- Start fundraising towards your goal!
- Get your team together and enjoy your event!
Your Company’s Role
- Choose an employee coordinator
- Strategize your fundraising efforts!
- Tell family, friends and colleagues why you’re raising money for Junior Achievement
- Reach your goal
- Celebrate over a fun (and a little competitive!) event!
Junior Achievement's Role
Work with the JA of the Michigan Great Lakes Events Team to determine your partnership level, set a fundraising goal (min. 5k for a JA hosted event) and choose which date, time and location to “play”! JA staff will work with your coordinator to set up your fundraising page and create social media language, office flyers, fundraising protocol and more.
On your event day, JA staff will ensure that your event location is ready!
